What you do

I help players bring classic decks back to the table with carefully prepared, affordable retro proxies.

How you position it

Faithful-looking retro fronts, intentionally blank backs, and no attempt to pass as genuine cards.

The care behind each card

More than just pressing print.

A lot of the work happens before a card is ever printed. I spend time rebuilding and refining artwork so each retro proxy looks clean, detailed, and true to the era.

01 / Non-holo reconstruction

Turning holo-only cards into clean non-holo artwork.

Some classic cards were only released with a holographic finish. Simply printing an image of that foil pattern as a non-holo card can look distracting and unnatural. I carefully edit and reconstruct those card images so they translate into a clean, polished non-holographic print.

02 / Early-era artwork restoration

Bringing low-quality scans back into focus.

Many pre-2010 cards have few, if any, high-quality scans available. I spend considerable time in Photoshop cleaning up old scans, correcting colors, rebuilding fine details, and sharpening layouts to get the front as close as possible to the original card.

The goal is a faithful-looking card front for casual retro decks, while keeping every card clearly unofficial.

This torn sample highlights the grey core inside the cardstock—the middle layer that helps block light and gives the cards a more rigid, authentic-feeling snap.

Important notes & policies.

Please review the information below about product quality, materials, shipping, and order policies before submitting a custom order. Additional terms and conditions will be included with your PayPal invoice for your review before payment.

Product disclaimer

  • All cards are unofficial proxy cards and are not genuine Pokémon Trading Card Game products.
  • They are fan-made for casual play, personal collections, display, and deck testing.
  • These proxies are not tournament legal and may not be permitted at official sanctioned Pokémon TCG events. Always check with your local shop whether proxies are allowed at non-sanctioned tournaments.
  • The service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or manufactured by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, or Game Freak.

Card quality & materials

  • All proxies are currently non-holo with completely blank backs to distinguish them from genuine Pokémon cards.
  • Printed on grey-core cardstock, similar to MTG & Pokémon cards, which blocks light and gives rigidity and a snappy feel.
  • The glossy finish is slightly shinier than genuine cards and may feel slightly stickier than their smooth coating.
  • When sleeved, the texture difference has minimal impact on handling, and sleeves help reduce glare.

Variation & intellectual property

  • Minor variation in color, brightness, alignment, or finish can happen between print runs and on-screen previews.
  • Product photos are representative and not a guarantee of pixel-perfect color matching.
  • Pokémon and related names, characters, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
  • Buying a proxy card does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the buyer.

Shipping, cancellations & returns

  • Orders are packed carefully for transit, but exact delivery times depend on the shipping method and destination.
  • Request changes or cancellations before production or dispatch whenever possible.
  • Because these are custom-made proxies, all sales are generally final unless an order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • If there is a problem with an order, customers should contact you with details and clear photos so the issue can be reviewed.
